Three Doctors.

Three different answers. And nobody is coordinating any of it.

If you're managing a serious diagnosis — or helping a parent navigate one — you already know this feeling. Too many providers. Too much conflicting information. And a healthcare system that was never designed to put it all together for you.

On Course Care is the guide you've been missing. An independent patient navigator with 26 years of non-clinical experience — working exclusively for you.

What sets On Course Care apart?

  • 26+ years of healthcare experience
  • Fully independent — no hospital, insurer, or clinic affiliation
  • Self-pay, personalized, one-on-one service
  • Your advocate from the first call to the final resolution

About the patient advocate

Hi,

I'm  Andrew Murray. I spent 26 years inside the healthcare system. What I saw changed everything.

Over more than two decades working in healthcare, I've seen what excellent, coordinated care looks like — and I've seen what happens when patients are left to navigate the system on their own.

I've watched patients with serious diagnoses leave appointments confused and alone. I've seen care plans from different specialists contradict each other, with nobody responsible for reconciling them. I've seen medical bills full of errors that went unchallenged — because patients didn't know what to look for, or simply didn't have the energy to fight. That burden shouldn't fall on the person who is sick. But in most cases, it does.

“I knew what was possible for patients who had someone truly in their corner. I just hadn’t seen that person exist yet. So I decided to become that person.”

Andrew Murray

After 26 years working in a hospital setting, I made the decision to go independent. No institutional agenda. No divided loyalty. Just one job: getting the best possible outcome for my clients.

That’s why On Course Care exists.

The healthcare system is not designed to advocate for you.

Hospital navigators work for the hospital. Insurance case managers work for the insurer. Even the most well-meaning doctors are stretched too thin to coordinate care across multiple specialists.

That means the real burden of coordination — tracking referrals, reconciling medications, understanding what’s covered, appealing denied claims, catching billing errors — falls entirely on the patient. At the worst possible time in their life.

Most patients never catch billing errors because medical bills are designed to be unreadable. Most don’t appeal denied claims because the process is deliberately complicated. And most never get a true second set of eyes on their care plan — because nobody’s job description includes that... Until now!

why we do it

Patients don't need more doctors. They need someone to coordinate the ones they already have.

That was the realization that changed how I think about patient care. The problem in most cases isn’t a lack of good doctors. It’s that no one is looking at the whole picture.

Each specialist sees their piece. Your primary care doctor sees their piece. But who sees all of it together? Who makes sure your cardiologist knows what your nephrologist prescribed? Who makes sure the plan moving forward actually makes sense for you as a whole person?

“When I started working independently — with no hospital, no insurer, no institutional agenda — I finally had the freedom to do what I always believed healthcare should do. Put the patient first. Completely.”
